Château Moulin Saint-Georges

Wine: Château Moulin Saint-Georges (2015)

Region: Saint-Emilion Grand Cru (Bordeaux)

Grape: Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Malbec, Petit Verdot, Carménère and Cabernet Sauvignon

A delicate and complex wine made from primarily Cabernet Franc and Merlot giving this wine a dry and rich formation. This in turn is balanced by the black fruits such as cherry blended with the characteristics of chocolate, sweet spices which when mixed with a savoury tobacco gives the wine a sense of age.

The Saint-Émillion region produces one of the most diverse range of wines. This is due to the soils where the vines are planted being gravel, limestone and sand. This gives huge opportunities to winemakers wanting to leave their own legacy. Not only is this region Bordeaux’s largest wine producer, it was also the first from Bordeaux to export wine.

Food Paring: Beef, Lamb and Game (deer and venison)

Due to the richness and complexities of the grapes used to create this wine, you’ll find that the fruity flavours compliment red meats so well.
